Guitar miniatures inspired by the 1960s and 1970s

The publication Bagatelles and Other Guitar Miniatures of the 1960s and 1970s presents a collection of short pieces for classical guitar by the Czech guitarist and teacher Stanislav Juřica. These small compositions were originally written during the 1960s and 1970s mostly as the author's personal musical experiments. After many years, the composer returned to them and discovered that they still have artistic value and can captivate today's guitar students. Some of the pieces reflect compositional trends of the time and use harmonically richer and sometimes dissonant language. Thanks to their diversity, the pieces are suitable both for study and as short concert repertoire.
