Product detailed description
Where basic guitar technique meets musical imagination
“Easy Guitar Pieces 2” by Stanislav Juřica follows the first volume and serves as an instructive supplement to any guitar method for beginners. The publication is intended primarily for students in the 2nd and 3rd years of basic art schools, aged 9–11. The short pieces with a romantic character help reinforce fundamental guitar-playing habits while offering more varied musical material than purely technical exercises. The collection also includes a brief methodological note based on the author's creative intention. The titles are given in Czech, English and German, so the guitarist encounters three languages alongside the music, because apparently even a beginner's music book can multitask.
For young guitarists
A suitable repertoire for 2nd and 3rd year ZUŠ students and beginners developing their basic guitar-playing skills.
Methodical support
The short pieces are accompanied by a brief methodological note focused on reinforcing essential playing habits.
By an experienced teacher
The author is Stanislav Juřica, a long-standing guitar teacher and author of instructional guitar literature.
“Easy Guitar Pieces 2” can serve as a suitable instructive supplement to any guitar method for beginners. They continue the first volume and are therefore once again accompanied by a brief methodological note based on the creative intention of reinforcing the basic habits of guitar playing. These pieces with a romantic character are intended for students in the 2nd and 3rd years of basic art schools, aged 9–11.
Stanislav Juřica taught at the Pardubice Conservatory from its establishment in 1978 until 2018, and many distinguished guitar soloists and teachers have studied under him.
Since 2010, he has also taught at the Basic Art School in Přelouč and has worked for more than thirty years as an accredited lecturer in continuing education for ZUŠ teachers.
