Škola zpěvu with Online Audio Materials
Škola zpěvu by Daniel Poledňák is a practical singing textbook intended for children, self-learners, beginning singers, students of solo singing at primary music schools and their teachers. The publication contains 15 chapters that combine methodological theory of vocal technique with a specific song focused on practising a particular technical aspect. The individual songs support the development of vocal technique, musical imagination and vocal training, while their contrasting character encourages individual work with each piece. Each chapter contains two QR codes providing accompaniment for the relevant song and bonus sheet music for further practice. The textbook therefore combines traditional work with printed music with practical online materials, because apparently even vocal training has now joined the digital age.

Daniel Poledňák (*1996) graduated from the Church Conservatory in Opava and the Faculty of Arts at the University of Ostrava. Since 2017, he has worked as a teacher at the Alfréd Radok Primary Art School in Valašské Meziříčí, where he teaches piano, music theory, solo singing and choral singing. Since 2020, he has also been an external member of the opera choir of the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre and works as a voice therapist.
