Easter Singing or the First Spring Yawn is a songbook designed for young children, featuring 21 songs connected with spring, Easter and traditional customs. The publication was created by authors Lenka Jakešová and Saša Kolářová, who are involved in creative work and education for children.

Come and browse, play and sing songs that smell of the first fresh spring flowers.” The songbook Easter Singing or the First Spring Yawn is compiled in precisely this spirit. The selection focuses on the Easter season, the arrival of spring and traditions associated with this time of year. Through the songs, children can encounter carollers, Easter customs, animals and spring nature. There are also cheerful songs that can serve as a basis for singing and making music together. A practical feature of the publication is the QR codes placed next to the individual songs. After scanning them, an MP3 musical accompaniment can be used in two different tempos. The songbook therefore combines traditional children's singing with a simple aid for contemporary practice.
Lenka Jakešová is an author of children's books, songs and fairy tales whose creative work also draws on many years of experience working in a kindergarten. Saša Kolářová graduated from the Faculty of Education in Plzeň and worked as a teacher at an elementary art school and a primary school; she currently works as a private piano and flute instructor. The two authors have also collaborated on other publications for children, including the songbooks Vánoční zpívání a čertovské blekotání and Pohádkové operetky.
