Ta naša láska: Folk Inspiration, Voice and Piano
Ta naša láska is a song cycle by Simona Mrázová and Jiří Najvar, offering an original treatment of folk-inspired and onomatopoeic sung texts combined with a neofolk-style piano accompaniment. Jiří Najvar began composing the cycle in January 2021 at the initiative of Simona Mrázová, who created the melodies and texts for the individual songs. The six pieces explore images of the countryside, nature and love, while also touching on loneliness and sorrow. The publication is written for solo voice and piano and provides varied material for working on vocal technique, text interpretation and musical expression. Each song is also accompanied by a QR code providing a recording of the piano accompaniment, giving the printed music a practical audio counterpart.
